I see him there, far off.
Too far to touch, too close to ignore.
I know him, want him.
I feel him, need him.
He is all that I can think about.
And yet he is still too Far Off.

What to do, where to go?
How to apporach, how to know?
These are the things that I ask myself to no avail.
No avail, no relenting.
And yet he is still too Far Off.

He sees me, looks this way.
I am happy, I can barly breathe.
He smiles and I know, know him.
He smiles and I melt, right where I am.
He smiles and I melt into his arms agian.
And yet he is still too Far Off.

I look into the light of his eyes and need him.
Need him here with me, though I know this is not.
I know where he is and I need him here.
Where to go, what to do? Where to be, what is the cue?
And yet he is still too Far Off.

Will he come back, will he heed my call?
This I know not, This I will never know.
For he has been too far off too long and I go.
Did I quit the love of my life for nothing, was he ever off?
Did I not wait long enough, did I kill myself for nothing?
None matters, he is too Far Off
